Day One of my Wicked Wedding Wanderings...
There I am again busy with life. First some back story... I have had some major life changes...in the past three months I have graduated from college, got engaged, and moved to a new place w/ my fiance. I have only ever lived with my parents and bestie since the third grade. So living w/ a guy is all very new to me. The day started off w/ the usual...trying to get some chores done and getting ready for work. Finally get home and it's time to start planning!!!
First thing to do is venue....
I have a list of over 100 venues...ahhhhh!! Where to start...wedding planning on your own can be CHAOS! Here is my list of must haves for the venue for the ceremony:
*Must be unique...breathtaking...
*We want an outdoor ceremony or somewhere inside that is unique and gorgeous...not a church...if it is outdoors there needs to be a back up plan for the dreaded rain.
* Somewhere that has several options for spectacular pics
*Fits at least 200 and is comfortable
*Has an area for the bride to get ready/no one can see the bride until she starts to walk down the aisle.
*affordable
*Nearby reception site
SOOO...Once we find our venue for the ceremony we can pick a reception site and then a date. Then from there things will start rolling!! Announcements/save the dates, catering, photographer, DJ, cake, decorations...
The pictures below are of the Franklin Park Conservatory...the first venue that took my breath away after hours of searching..this could be the one...

Time to get back to venue viewing...
